Hey data world, and welcome to my blog, I’m glad you found your way here! So, I’d like to start this with a fun fact: I’ve owned this domain for 18 months and am finally writing my first post. What can I say? I appreciate a good pun and wanted to lock this down as soon as I thought of it, not when I was ready to start blogging. 

In all seriousness, since buying the domain, I’ve grown a lot professionally, and have become a much more active participant in the Tableau and data communities. I’ve learned so much from the Tableau Community Forums, and from so, so many different blogs (I’d like to list them here, but I think that will make a great follow-up post). Anyways, with all the support I’ve received, it’s finally time I give back and share some of my Tableau and data insights – especially with the recent encouragement I’ve received – more on that soon as well.

For now, I’ll be going with the flow and posting whatever is on my mind – Tableau tips, perspectives on the data and analytics world, or just something interesting I found that week. To put it short – we’ll have a Data-Driven Discussion. And you, dear reader who has made it this far on my first post, you are intended to be a part of that discussion too.
